Advanced Placement (AP) Classes

New Mission prides itself in being able to offer students the opportunity to take nine Advanced Placement (AP) classes. We are able to offer students:

  • African-American Studies (offered in 10th, 11th, and 12th)

  • Biology

  • Calculus AB

  • Language & Composition

  • Literature & Composition

  • Pre-Calculus

  • Physics

  • Psychology (offered in 10th, 11th, and 12th)

  • Seminar

  • Spanish Language

  • Statistics (offered in 10th, 11th, and 12th)

Students can take AP courses starting in their Sophomore year (10) and continue through Junior (11) and/or Senior (12) year. New Mission is a Mass Insight School, allowing us to offer extra Saturday Study Sessions for our AP students, mock exams for Science, Math, and ELA, as well as professional development for staff.
